After school activities

Screen Shot 2022-11-11 at 3.15.40 PM.pngSchool has just started and we can say that many things are different than they were in the previous couple of years. We started school on campus! With the pandemic situation going back to normality, we can expect to have a much more exciting school year. Focusing more on after school activities, the spirit and competitiveness in the training grounds seems to be increasing this year.

After school activities started this week, and through my experience in both the volleyball and soccer training sessions, the practices are much more intense and tiring. It feels like the students and the coaches are getting serious about winning the upcoming friendship games. Another thing that has changed with the pandemic fading away is that the school will now be engaging in local tournaments as well as having friendly games on fridays! This is incredibly awesome!

Even with all of this, there is still one thing missing. School spirit still needs to rise. We all belong to this school and we all represent it! Come watch the friendlies, the tournaments, give us your support in the good times and in the bad. As a collective we need to want school spirit at the highest level it has ever been. Making this change will be difficult, of course, but with the support of the students, the effort of the players, and the plans of the coaches, I trust that we will be able to create a special environment where we can safely shoot for the stars and know that others have our backs.
