Bolivia in Qatar?

Bolivia’s national team joined the race to qualify for the World Cup that will take place in Qatar in 2022. In the last match against Paraguay’s national team, Bolivia showed a new face in the game, and in spirit. They smashed Paraguay, winning by 4 goals (Ramallo 21’, Villaroel 53’, Abrego 84’, Fernandez 90+4), and also winning the previous match against Peru by 1 goal (Vaca 82’). These two victories put Bolivia in 7th place in the standings with 12 points, just 4 points away from Uruguay. Uruguay, who are in fifth place, are the last placed team that could participate in the Qatar World Cup, which will take place next year.
If Bolivia wins their next two games against Peru(A) and Uruguay(H), we will reach 18 points, and that would mean we would only be seven points away from 25.. This is important because mathematically, if a country gets 25 points they get the ticket to play the World Cup. Bolivia surprised the competition with their last wins, creating a lot of expectation from the people that support the team. The national team has played 3 times in the world cup (1930, 1950, and 1994). 1994 being the last participation of “la Verde”, 27 years have passed from then until now. That’s why all fans are so excited and very hopeful about this new face of the national team. The new national team is composed of a mix of experienced and young players. M. Martins (el Flecheiro) the captain and the striker will try to lead the team to reach the objective. It is also important to note that M. Martins is having a good performance being the striker of the tournament, having more goals (8) than Neymar (6) and Messi (5). This good performance so far has helped the national team that became the highest goal scoring team in the tournament.(17).
