Carnival 2020

Carnival is over, all of the depressive young people are going home. Including me. I had the best time of my life, I enjoyed every second of carnival. It was a precious time that I will never forget. It’s a bummer to see all of your peers come into class and fall asleep, due to the fact that they had the best time of their lives. Some people stayed here in La Paz and played with water even though it is not allowed, others traveled to different parts of Bolivia to check out the concerts and fun festivals. I traveled to Cochabamba, a city located 45 minutes away from La Paz if you go via plane. 15,000 people took part in the event and I got to see three international artists: Karol G, Danny Ocean, and Anuel. The three of them did great in the concerts and even made some of the people who I went with emotional. But, on Tuesday, February 25th the magic was over, I came back to La Paz with an empty space in my heart wondering what could I have done to enjoy Cochabamba better. I miss Cochabamba with all my heart and I hope next year I can fill that void in my heart and travel with my whole class. For now, I’ll just have to wait another 12 months and 3 days for it to happen. Until then Cocha will always be in my heart with great friends and great experiences, see you in a year.
