Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United

As most of the soccer fans in school know, Cristiano Ronaldo has recently moved to his former club, Manchester United. His transfer was a surprise for everyone and an exciting moment for all Manchester fans.

His wage in Juventus was at least double of what it is at Old Trafford now but he is still on the top 10 highest paid soccer players in the world, with an estimated 531,000 dollars per week.

He was greeted with open arms and great love by all Manchester fans who have the hope that he will lead their team to victory. He started off with a great debut at Old Trafford, scoring 2 very important goals that secured the win for the English team.

His next match was a Champions League game, which is very important for the world of soccer; he was able to score a goal, but wasn’t able to save the team from a 2-1 loss. They also recently lost their two last games against West Ham and Aston Villa.

He will be playing his second champions league game with Manchester United on September 29 against the Spanish club Villareal.

Let’s hope that Cristiano Ronaldo can drag their team to victory and maintain his position as one of the best soccer players in the world.
