El Clasico

Last Saturday, Real Madrid, played against Barcelona for La Liga. In Spanish soccer, if these two teams play against one another it’s called “El Clasico”.

On Sunday, Real Madrid’s stadium, Santiago Bernabeu, was filled to a total of 81,044 spectators, and ex-Real Madrid star Christiano Ronaldo also attended the match.

As soon as the match began, both teams were aggressively competing for the ball. The first half ended with a tie but, nevertheless, Real was leading the game.

In the second half, Barça had some good chances, but they were unsuccessful. Real Madrid, on the other hand, paid off their pressure and scored the first goal of El Clasicos in the seventy-first minute with Vinicius Junior. 

Later, the Barcelona fans got mad and stopped chanting their team, so Barça started playing worse, and in the 90+2th minute Real scored another goal with Mariano, and the end score of the Spanish derby was 2-0 for Real Madrid.
