How to feel better with yourself?

*Some days are better than others.* Usually on those days that don’t go well, we end up being hard on ourselves. If we don’t believe in ourselves, who is going to? 


Here are 7 tips to feel better with yourself. 

  1. Keep going: Don’t let life’s changes throw you off track. You need to remember that most extenuating circumstances are temporary. “After the storm, comes the calm.” Gain more clarity focusing on your goal. 
  1. Trust yourself: If you don’t believe in yourself, who is going to believe in you? Believing in your inner resources will help you to grow from your experiences. Give yourself a little time and have patience. 


  1. Be friends with life: Life is not going to get you and it is not going to punish you. You would be the responsible person. You need to focus on other opportunities or other directions. 
  1. Watch your thoughts: Your thinking will never be 100 percent positive, but you will learn to dismiss the negative thoughts. You need to stay open to the ideas that will help you to move forward.  
  1. Learn to love yourself: You don’t need approval from other people to be who you are. But changing because you want to get better is creating a strategy. A good way to begin loving yourself is to stop doing things that hurt you.


  1. Recognize that disappointment is part of life: Everybody has to deal with disappointment, but we need to learn how to use it to get to the next level. You need to process your feelings, then take some kind of action. 
  1. Deal with your fears: “Overcoming your fears makes you stronger.” Feel good about yourself, no matter what happens.
