How to Help Africa
Africa is the poorest continent in the world. Out of 28 poorest countries in the world, 27 of them are located in sub-Saharan Africa. The poverty rate in Africa is about 41 percent. As you can see, many people are suffering, and the countries cannot develop enough even though they have many resources like diamonds and fertile land. Many people die every day due to hunger. Scientists are trying to find a way to help all the people, but it is not as easy as giving money.
Donating food is not a solution because people will not be able to produce food on their own. The real solution will be to work on the many problems that cause a lack of food and development. For example, many Africans cannot access the latest technologies that can help them to produce food faster and make more money. The child mortality is also very low, and many children do not have a proper education. Other bigger problems include solving the corruption in the government and the dictatorships.
One important thing that is very important is to understand that their countries have very different cultures and languages. We cannot help Africa with the same plan, we have to understand the problems of the people and their society.
Donations help a lot, but If we want to solve a problem with poverty, we have to be interested in people, how they think, and how they live.
