Why have salty or sweet popcorn when you can have both? This tasty recipe is guaranteed to satisfy all of your cravings.
These two different, but unique flavors can make an unbelievably delicious mix. If you love binge watching Netflix as much as I do, then you will absolutely want to check this snack out. It is so simple and easy that this will take you less than 10 minutes to make.
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup popping corn
3 tablespoons powdered sugar
Drizzle of chocolate (optional)
Add oil to a large saucepan and heat on medium high.
Pour in half a cup of popping corn accompanied with 3 generous tablespoons of powdered sugar. Next, stir it and then put on the lid.
Make sure to shake the saucepan a little bit from time to time as you let the corn pop away.
When the popping starts to diminish, remove the pan from the heat and leave it for a few seconds so that the last few corn pops.
Remember to remove the saucepan from the heat a bit earlier because if not, it could burn.
Finally, pour the popcorn into a bowl and sprinkle some salt (you can be generous with the salt too).
Extra: if you want, add some melted chocolate on top for some extra flavor
If you want to give this recipe a more intensified sugary taste, you are welcome to skip the salt and add some cinnamon powder to it. Cinnamon is definitely a life changing ingredient when it comes to popcorn. This small, but impactful twist can completely change the flavor.
