How to Start 2021 on the Right Foot

We can all agree that 2020 was not as we expected. It was pretty much a big mess. Millions of people died and the whole world was in lockdown. Now, no one knows what this year will bring, but we all hope for the best. Just like last year, we are still stuck in a pandemic and hopefully, we don’t go back to quarantine. Even when the pandemic ends, we are going to live differently. There is no way that we can go back to our normal lives. So, instead of stressing about our future, we should start 2021 on the right foot.

Particularly for me, writing out my New Year’s Resolutions is super important. However, we don’t know what’s going to happen this year, so we should write realistic goals. Some goals that you can start with are: increasing your physical fitness, improving your diet, or even stopping procrastination. Your goals for 2021 are very limited but not impossible. There are so many things that you can still accomplish at home. I know that one of my goals for 2021 is to start reading more books.

Not only is it important to have your goals written down, but to also find motivation. Some things that people do to stay motivated is getting up early, stretching, eating healthy, and exercising your body. Motivation is key to a successful year. You should try and find what works best for you.

Even if we have obstacles in life, don’t forget that everything has a solution. At the end of the day, we should be happy that 2020 has ended. 2021 is your chance to get yourself up and start achieving the little things that you want. In the end, you are going to accomplish more than what you think because sometimes less is more.
