Manchester United Football Club said on Sunday, star striker Mason Greenwood “won’t get back to preparing or play matches until additional notification,” after charges of abusive behavior at home arose against the 20-year-old Britain player.
A representative for the club told CNN before on Sunday that the club knew about “pictures and claims circling via web-based media” with respect to the footballer, adding it would “not offer any further remark until the realities have been laid out.”
Manchester Police said “a man in his 20s has been captured on suspicion of assault and attack” on Sunday, adding that the suspect “stayed in care for addressing” and that “inquiries were progressing.” The police said it was made mindful of “online web-based media pictures and recordings posted by a lady detailing occurrences of actual viciousness.”
An assertion shipped off CNN before on Sunday read that “inquiries were progressing to lay out the full conditions.”
Police likewise said it would not affirm any names of casualties or expected guilty parties. This comes after a progression of photographs and sound accounts purportedly posted online by Greenwood’s sweetheart, web-based media force to be reckoned with, Harriet Robson. In the posts, Robson blames Greenwood for abusive behavior at home, showing photographs of what gives off an impression of being her lip draining and injuries to her body. Robson had brought down the posts on Sunday.
