New Mural made by the Wet-Media class

Last semester, the High School Wet-Media class was asked to turn a boring wall into a beautiful mural by the school’s administration. A few days later, Ms. Ormachea’s class embarked on the project.

The students in the class were asked to make sketches related to the Hispanic culture. Although five sketches were made only one was chosen by the office. The chosen sketch consisted of a Bolivian flag with a map of Bolivia and a kantuta.

A few days after the sketch was approved, the class moved brushes and paint buckets to the wall behind Ms.Gammara’s tech classroom. First, the wall was measured and split into symmetric squares. Then, the background was painted with the Bolivian flag, with red at the top, yellow in the middle and green at the bottom. After that, the symbols were painted.

After a few weeks of hard work, the mural was completed, and you can see the results now behind the tech classes, near the elementary Spanish departments.
