“New Teachers at ACS”

With a new school year comes new teachers. Almost every new year we have received a new teacher in the school staff. Either they only teach elementary, or secondary. This year we have two new teachers: Francis Kerscher and Daniela Baldivieso. Many students might not be aware of these two new teachers due to the fact that we are in online schooling and we only see the teachers that teach our classes. If we would have been in regular school, many would have noticed that there were new faces in the corridors.
Mr. Kercher might be known by some of the students and they might know him by Franky. He teaches Middle School English, 6th, and 7th grade. Meaning that he teaches secondary Middle School. He was born in Bolivia, but also has German and Caribbean heritage. Before ACS He taught High School 11th and 12th grade.
The second teacher that has just joined the school, but has been on campus before is Ms. Baldivieso. Ms. Baldivieso is from Bolivia and graduated from ACS. She used to substitute, but last year started working in Elementary. She teaches 8th-grade science, Honors Biology, and Freshman Seminar. Ms. Baldivieso teaches Secondary 8th and 9th grade. This is her first year as a teacher in Secondary. It’s always great news when you see a new teacher. We will see which teachers join the ACS community next year!
