Tired of practicing on the best basketball and volleyball court and never winning friendship games? Everybody at ACS does. This year though, be surprised to have your basketball, track, and knowledge bowl team get to the finals and bring back the overall trophy. Why? Because the coaches are training the athletes harder than ever to lead their teams to glory.
Hard and continuous training are what the students are going through at this moment. Their hard work and dedication is clearly seen from the outstanding job the athletes perform in practice. They are all taking practice very seriously. The majority gets there early and leaves late. Not because they are told to, but because they know that their hard work, effort, and time dedication will be reflected on the court.
It has taken only two months for the teams to be where they currently stand, and at the pace they go, the gold medal is just around the corner.
Commitment and team work is what is driving these distinctive teams towards success. It takes a lot of discipline to attend practice and be on top of academics as well as one’s personal life. Which is why respect should be shown to those who will be representing the school in the 2019 second semester Friendship Games. Congratulations athletes for your hard work!
