Soccer’s Biggest Summer Transfers

Summer of 2022 has been filled with tons of major transfers in terms of money and teams. Now we are going to discuss our top 3 of the summer transfer window.

  1. Aurelien Tchouameni

Aurelien Tchouameni transferred this summer from AS Monaco to Real Madrid. Tchouameni transferred for 87.4 million euros to los galacticos. This French midfielder makes it onto our list because of the deja vu it creates. Florentino Perez, president of Real Madrid, seems to come back to Monaco to search for more young talent, after the infamous Kylian Mbappe deal fell through recently. The youngster has played in 2 games for Madrid, but has yet to put his name on the board, but we still believe in a promising future for the midfielder.

  1. Darwin Nunez

The next on our list is Darwin Nunez. This Uruguayan striker transferred from Benfica to Liverpool for 81.9 million euros, an absolute steal for a player of this caliber. This player makes it onto our list because of his sheer talent at Benfica, and the ability to help out Liverpool in the 22/23 season. He has had 2 appearances to date, and has even scored a goal in one of them. Unfortunately he is currently out on a slight injury, but we are hoping this striker will return soon to show more of his talent on the premier league stage.

  1. Erling Haaland

This brings us to our top place on the transfer list. For this place we have gone with Erling Haaland. Haaland recently transferred this summer from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester City for 65.5 million euros. This Norwegian striker is at the top of our list for his popularity and performance over the last season. In the 21-22 season Haaland had 24 appearances for Dortmund and scored 22 goals overall. In his short time at Manchester City, he has scored over 3 goals and 1 assist across 3 appearances. It looks like a promising start for Haaland, we can not wait for the rest of the season to unfold!
