You may be thinking about how this virus will not affect the Olympics. Well, many reasons come into the planning of the Olympics. First, fans will not be able to attend the stadiums and the events. Second, all the athletes and staff will have to wear masks at all times except when they are competing and playing. Third, athletes will not be able to hang out in the stadiums or in the place the events are taking place; they will only be able to hang out with their team.
The Olympics will start on Fri, July 23, 2021, and will end on Sun, August 8, 2021. They will take place in Tokyo, Japan. Everything will happen inside the Japan National Stadium. The Olympics are an international multi-sport event. 46 sports are played in the Olympics.
Everyone is looking forward to the Olympics as they were supposed to take place in 2020, but because of the global pandemic, they couldn’t be held in 2020.
