Protests play a key role in civil, social, economic, and political life of all societies. It generally promotes positive social change and advancements in human rights. There are many ways of protesting, some of which include marching or striking, writing about the topic, or posting about it on social media. Currently, all nine departments of Bolivia have united to protest against the president, subsequent to the elections. Students, teachers, friends, and families are gathering together to strike for several hours each day. Protesting doesn’t mean to only do it once. It means to be persistent until somebody listens and there is change. Protesting allows individuals and groups to express dissent, to call out flaws in governance, and to share views and opinions. Everyone is entitled to protest without any form of discrimination and they should have the freedom to choose the manner and form of protest
