The Weekend Will Be In Charge Of This Year Superbowl

After a difficult year full of unusual events, people felt certain that the 2021 Superbowl would be canceled. This event is held every year in different states of the U.S.A and it is considered the greatest sports event of all time. After various speculations of the Superbowl being canceled, the NFL confirmed it will take place on February 7, 2021. This massive event will be played at the “Raymond State Stadium” in Tampa, Florida.

One thing that characterizes the Superbowl is its amazing halftime shows. These halftime shows were created by the NFL for more general and less sports-oriented audiences and it worked just as planned. Many people who are not interested in American football still wait for the event because of the half time shows. Artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Maroon 5, Travis Scott, Big Boi, Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Lenny Kravitz, Missy Elliott, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and even more artists had performed in the Superbowl.

This year, Canadian artist “The Weeknd” is in charge of performing in the greatest stage of them all. The honor that was given to him was not only luck; he deserved it because of what he did in 2020. After the release of his last popular album, Starboy in 2016, he disappeared; and then reappeared in 2020 with the release of another album, After Hours which brought a lot of popular songs to the music market, such as “Blinding Lights”. This popular album made his name resonate with listeners over the world.

Audiences have high expectations for this show and hope that it will be at the same height as past shows. So now, we need to wait until February 7th  to see the epic show the Weeknd is going to bring to us. Will he be on the list of the best shows in Superbowl history or will he just be forgotten?
