To The Final Game

Another wonderful soccer match between high schoolers took place on Saturday. There are a couple of things that should be mentioned about this. First, the match was not supposed to take place on a Saturday, instead, it should have taken place on Friday as well as every other single match in this tournament. Some of the STUCO representatives were aware that the match would not be that important as it should have been. Practically both teams fought for a place against the Sophomores who have reached the final game.

The game finalized the following Monday during brunch because of the score. The match ended 9-9 and there was no time for penalty kicks after the match since no one wanted to finish it. On brunch Sebi Arduz was able to take Jose Miguel Delgadillo’s penalty kick away. Also, Mohammad Eslami was able to take Jp’s penalty away from the goal. Although this was a tight penalty shootout, the seniors were able to stand against the Freshmen because of the failed penalty by Vanina and the winning goal by Waltico Flores.

In the following week, we will be able to see the Seniors and Sophomores play the final match! Let continue with this new tradition and we’ll see who will the winner be of this amazing competition.
