UFC 261

This past weekend was the return of the crowds to UFC in Jacksonville, Florida did not disappoint. The 261 had 3 under-cards and the main fight, where Kamaru Usman beat Jorge Masvidal by a second-round knockout.

The co-main event was Weili Zhang against Rose Namajunas, in which Namajunas took a first-round knockout win.

The title bout fight, Valentina Shevchenko vs Jéssica Andrade was won by Shevchenko in another second-round knockout.

The talk of the night however was Uriah Hall and Chris Weidman. Chris, who some might remember broke Anderson Silva’s leg back in 2013, suffered the same injury. The gruesome leg break caused the fighter to have to retire in the first round of the fight not even 20 seconds into the round. Leaving Hall with the win.
