No one can disagree with Lionel Andres Messi being one of the greatest soccer players of all time. He may very well be the best in history if it were not for CR7. However, right now his future is uncertain.
Messi has recently stated that he wants to leave Barcelona, which at the moment is not able to win anything. Why is that? Well, Barcelona has found themselves facing bankruptcy, and as a result, they can no longer afford to buy good players and improve the team. On top of this, the livelihood of current players and employees has been negatively affected.
To be honest, I believe that it is in the best interest of both parties to let Messi go because he is no longer happy in the team, and because Barcelona can’t pay Messi’s enormous salary of 26 million dollars a year.
Either way, Messi is a winner, so he must move on from Barcelona in order to have a chance at winning a Champions League or a club season. So, where could he go?
